TEHRAN – President Rouhani on Saturday appointed Masoud Soltanifar as the secretary of the Supreme Council for Youth, IRNA reported.

Soltanifar is currently the minister of sorts and youth, a position he assumed on November 1, 2016. He was previously head of the Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization.

In his decree, Rouhani hoped Soltanifar succeeds in implementing his duties “by adhering to law, moderation, and the moral charter of the Administration of Prudence and Hope.”
